[nbr][nbr]* The first layer is over 4 m in depth , second layer is over 8 m in depth [nbr][nbr] and the third layer is over 12 m in depth . [nbr][nbr]* The first operation that they officially used since the year 1966 , they called TRAP , during this operation , they ever used water pine to pump water into this tunnel system in order to make tunnel flood . [nbr][nbr]* The second operation that they called * Tunnel Rat * , US Army tried to select some small soldiers included their allies from South Korea , Philippine , Thai Lan , Army from The South Vietnamese government ( Republic of Viet Nam ) , they were supplied iron lancer , sub machine gun , anti-toxic mask , and they were separated into smaller group , each small group got four members , both of them slide down this tunnel system , and they used trip-wire to tie of with the bomb and lay at the intersection of this tunnel system , then they destroyed this tunnel system from outside of the tunnel . [nbr][nbr]* The next operation is that they ever used a lots of bulldozer to destroy this tunnel system and sprayed a lots of chemical weapons there , such as : [nbr][nbr]agent orange , defoliant , napalm bombs , dioxin so on... and then they used loud speaker to call for surrender . [nbr][nbr]* The next operation is that they ever used a special type of grass that they already absorbed into chemical liquid before they started to plant them , and especially , after they planted them for a few weeks , these grass plant could grow up very quickly , over 2-3 m high, and especially, they got very sharp leaves , so that , whenever , if anyone walk by , their skin will get hurt because of these grass .
