*7.30 am : Our professional English speaking guide and driver will pick up

tourist at your hotel , then starts City Tour included some main

*About Cu Chi Tunnel System :

* The first Cu Chi tunnel system was built( by hand ) by local Vietnamese people in the year 1948 , during French Army and their allies occupied Viet Nam and Indochina .

However , the first tunnel system was used for hiding from Enemy only .

* And the main tunnel system was officially built since the year 1961-1967 during US Army and their allies occupied Viet Nam .

* And the whole tunnel system took nearly 20 years to build ( by hand ) by local Vietnamese people and soldiers during American War in Viet Nam .

*And this time , not only this tunnel system was used for hiding from Enemy but also used for fighting against them .

So that , totally , the whole tunnel system is over 200 km in length with three different layers.

* The first layer is over 4 m in depth , second layer is over 8 m in depth , and the third layer is over 12 m in depth .
