[nbr][nbr]* Cu Chi Tunnel system is located in Cu Chi District , over 60 km away from Ho Chi Minh City , Viet Nam . [nbr][nbr]* It takes more than one hour and thirty minutes to reach there . [nbr][nbr]* On arrival , tourist will spend around 20 minutes to watch a short documentary film about history of Cu Chi tunnel system . [nbr][nbr]* About Cu Chi Tunnel System : [nbr][nbr]* The first tunnel system was built in the year 1948 during French Army and their allies started to occupy Viet Nam and Indochina as well . [nbr][nbr]However , the first tunnel system was built ( by hand ) by local Vietnamese people , that was used for hiding from French Army and their allies only . [nbr][nbr]* And the main tunnel system was officially built since the year 1961-1967 , it took almost 20 years to build ( by hand ) by local Vietnamese people and soldiers during American War in Viet Nam . [nbr][nbr]* This time , This tunnel system was not only used for hiding from enemy but also for fighting against them . [nbr][nbr]So that , the whole tunnel system is over 200 km in length with three different layers. [nbr][nbr]* The first layer is over 4 m in depth , second layer is over 8 m in depth and the third layer is over 12 m in depth . [nbr][nbr]* Especially , each layer got some different bunkers with different functions , such as : [nbr][nbr]AK 47 , M 1 , M 60 , M 30 , M 16 , Carbine so on ... [nbr][nbr]**During American War in Viet Nam , ( 1961-1973 ) , US Government and their allies ever tried to use a lots of different operation to destroy this tunnel system :[nbr][nbr]* The first operation that they officially used since the year 1966 , name :TRAP . [nbr][nbr]During this operation , US Army and their allies ever used water pine to pump water from Sai Gon river into this tunnel system to make tunnel flood , in this operation , they just destroyed 70 m of this tunnel system . [nbr][nbr]* The next operation that they called * Tunnel Rat * Operation , US Government tried to select some small soldiers and their allies from South Korea , Philippine , Thai Lan , Army from The South Vietnamese Government ( Republic of Viet Nam ) as well , especially , these soldiers were supplied iron lancer , sub machine gun , anti-toxic mask , and they were separated into smaller group , four members for each group . Both of them slide into this tunnel system , and they used trip-wire to tie up with the bomb and lay at the intersection of this tunnel system from inside , and both of the other members stand from outside to destroy it . [nbr][nbr]* The next operation that they used a lots of bulldozer to destroy this tunnel system from underground and they sprayed a lots of chemical weapons into this tunnel system , and they used loud speaker to call for surrender . [nbr][nbr]* The next operation that they used a lots of special type of grass , that they already absorbed into chemical liquid , after they planted for a few weeks , these grass could up very quick . And especially , these grass got very sharp leaves . So that , if We walk by , these grass could cut our skin easily . [nbr][nbr]* And they used more and more operation to destroy this tunnel system , [nbr][nbr] however , finally , they lost in this battle . [nbr][nbr]*The founder of Cao Dai Temple as well as Cao Dai Religion was Mr Pham Cong [nbr][nbr] Tac , he came from Tay Ninh province , over 100 km away from Ho Chi Minh [nbr][nbr] City . [nbr][nbr]* He founded this religion since the year 1926 in Tay Ninh province , and [nbr][nbr] he was also One of the first person who got some ideas to design the first [nbr][nbr] Cao Dai Temple located in Tay Ninh province . [nbr][nbr]* And this Cao Dai Temple was officially built since the year 1926 , it took more than seven years to complete finished ( 1934 ). [nbr][nbr]* The architect style of Cao Dai Temple is very different compare to another temples around the world . [nbr][nbr]* Especially , at the main section of Cao Dai Temple where local follower [nbr][nbr] just worship a Global Symbol with an left eye is designed right in the [nbr][nbr] middle of Global , because according to the philosophy of this religion [nbr][nbr] that * Left Eye *is symbolized for Universal Conscience * , because they ( [nbr][nbr] local follower )thought that the left eye is closer to our heart than the [nbr][nbr] right eye . [nbr][nbr]*Especially , this temple is also the biggest Cao Dai Temple in Viet Nam [nbr][nbr] nowadays . Its covers an area of nearly one square km .[nbr][nbr]* About Cao Dai Religion : [nbr][nbr]* Cao Dai Religion is combination of five different religions mixed all [nbr][nbr] together , such as : [nbr][nbr] Buddhist Religion , Christianity , Taoism , Confucius and Hinduism ... [nbr][nbr]* Especially , there is five daily ceremonies celebrated at the main Cao Dai [nbr][nbr] Temple in Tay Ninh province everyday . [nbr][nbr]* And the main ceremony is celebrated at noon . [nbr][nbr] Especially , the follower has to wear their uniform in different colors , [nbr][nbr] each color is symbolized for different religions with different meanings , [nbr][nbr] such as : [nbr][nbr]* Yellow color is symbolized for Buddhist Religion , its symbolized for [nbr][nbr] prosperity . [nbr][nbr]* White uniform is symbolized for Christianity , its symbolized for purity . [nbr][nbr]* Blue uniform is symbolized for Taoist , its symbolized for tolerance .
