IN THE MORNING :

*7.30 am : Our professional English speaking guide and driver will pick up tourist at your hotel , then go straight to Cu Chi Tunnel .

* Cu Chi Tunnel system is located in Cu Chi District , over 60 km away from Ho Chi Minh City , Viet Nam .

* It takes more than one hour and thirty minutes to reach there .

* On arrival , tourist will spend around 20 minutes to watch a short documentary film about history of Cu Chi tunnel system .

* THEN , Our guide will take tourist to explore more about history of this famous man made tunnel system . Tourist has more than one hour to explore more about history of this famous man made tunnel system .

* Tourist has chance to go inside of this famous man made tunnel system in order to explore more about the architect style of this tunnel system from inside.

* Tourist also has chance to enjoy shooting gun with different types , such as : AK 47 , M 1 , M 30 , M 60 , M 16 so on .. , however , it's not free .

* About Cu Chi Tunnel System :

Cao Dai Temple

* The first tunnel system was built in the year 1948 during French Army and their allies started to occupy Viet Nam and Indochina as well .

However , the first tunnel system was built ( by hand ) by local Vietnamese people , that was used for hiding from French Army and their allies only .

* And the main tunnel system was officially built since the year 1961-1967 , it took almost 20 years to build ( by hand ) by local Vietnamese people and soldiers during American War in Viet Nam .

* This time , This tunnel system was not only used for hiding from enemy but also for fighting against them .

So that , the whole tunnel system is over 200 km in length with three different layers.

* The first layer is over 4 m in depth , second layer is over 8 m in depth and the third layer is over 12 m in depth .

* Especially , each layer got some different bunkers with different functions , such as :

AK 47 , M 1 , M 60 , M 30 , M 16 , Carbine so on ...

**During American War in Viet Nam , ( 1961-1973 ) , US Government and their allies ever tried to use a lots of different operation to destroy this tunnel system :

* The first operation that they officially used since the year 1966 , name :TRAP .

During this operation , US Army and their allies ever used water pine to pump water from Sai Gon river into this tunnel system to make tunnel flood , in this operation , they just destroyed 70 m of this tunnel system .

* The next operation that they called * Tunnel Rat * Operation , US Government tried to select some small soldiers and their allies from South Korea , Philippine , Thai Lan , Army from The South Vietnamese Government ( Republic of Viet Nam ) as well , especially , these soldiers were supplied iron lancer , sub machine gun , anti-toxic mask , and they were separated into smaller group , four members for each group . Both of them slide into this tunnel system , and they used trip-wire to tie up with the bomb and lay at the intersection of this tunnel system from inside , and both of the other members stand from outside to destroy it .

* The next operation that they used a lots of bulldozer to destroy this tunnel system from underground and they sprayed a lots of chemical weapons into this tunnel system , and they used loud speaker to call for surrender .

* The next operation that they used a lots of special type of grass , that they already absorbed into chemical liquid , after they planted for a few weeks , these grass could up very quick . And especially , these grass got very sharp leaves . So that , if We walk by , these grass could cut our skin easily .

* And they used more and more operation to destroy this tunnel system ,

however , finally , they lost in this battle .

*The victory of Cu Chi Tunnel was not only One of the great victory of

Vietnamese people in history of Viet Nam War but also One of the great

victory of man kind in a big battle to fight against One of the most

strongest and powerful Army Empire in the world .

* It also proved that , even Viet Nam is a small country with small people ,

poor technology and poor weapons as well .

HOWEVER , If We know how to unite all together to use Our strength as well

as Our power in order to protect Our freedom and Independence for Our nation that , We could defeat any strong and powerful army empire in the world , even US Army .

*After visiting Cu Chi Tunnel System , Our guide and driver continue to take tourist to visit Cao Dai Temple , it takes more than one hour to reach there .

* Cao Dai Temple is One of the most typical temple in Viet Nam nowadays .

*The founder of Cao Dai Temple as well as Cao Dai Religion was Mr Pham Cong

Tac , he came from Tay Ninh province , over 100 km away from Ho Chi Minh

City .

* He founded this religion since the year 1926 in Tay Ninh province , and

he was also One of the first person who got some ideas to design the first

Cao Dai Temple located in Tay Ninh province .

* And this Cao Dai Temple was officially built since the year 1926 , it took more than seven years to complete finished ( 1934 ).

* The architect style of Cao Dai Temple is very different compare to another temples around the world .

* Especially , at the main section of Cao Dai Temple where local follower

just worship a Global Symbol with an left eye is designed right in the

middle of Global , because according to the philosophy of this religion

that * Left Eye *is symbolized for Universal Conscience * , because they (

local follower )thought that the left eye is closer to our heart than the

right eye .

*Especially , this temple is also the biggest Cao Dai Temple in Viet Nam

nowadays . Its covers an area of nearly one square km .

* About Cao Dai Religion :

* Cao Dai Religion is combination of five different religions mixed all

together , such as :

Buddhist Religion , Christianity , Taoism , Confucius and Hinduism ...

* Especially , there is five daily ceremonies celebrated at the main Cao Dai

Temple in Tay Ninh province everyday .

* And the main ceremony is celebrated at noon .

Especially , the follower has to wear their uniform in different colors ,

religion nowadays .

*Especially , tourist has a chance to see the whole view of the main ceremony at noon in Tay Ninh province .
