4x4 circuit: The Sand Route

11 Days / 10 Nights

Through this 11-day circuit, set off to explore the Algerian Sahara, the Tadrart, the Erg Admer, this group forming part of the Tassili N'Ajjer national park, listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO . A real immersion in a labyrinth of dunes with incredible colors, a festival of caves offering sumptuous engravings and cave paintings, and a maze of canyons. These magical landscapes where the beauty of the place crosses the ages.

Day 01 Thursday: Arrival at the airport, transfer to Djanet, to the agency's guest house to stay overnight.

Day 02 Friday: Departure in the direction of Tadrart with the 4x4; lunch at noon at the Tin-Zeran cave. Visit the cave paintings and the cave where UNESCO research takes place and in the afternoon departure to Oued Baridj.

Day 03 Saturday: Visit the site of engravings and cave paintings of Oued Baridj. In the afternoon, difficult passage for 4x4 in sand dunes to reach the bivouac in the evening in Moulanaga.

Day 04 Sunday: Visit of Moulanaga departure towards Tin-Merzouga, visit of the arches of the Cathedral, paintings and engravings. Lunch at In-Tehak, then arrive in the afternoon before sunset at Tin-Merzouga.

Day 05 Monday: Departure from Tin-Merzouga in the direction of In-Jaran; visit the cave paintings of Abu-Hadiene; lunch on the dunes of In-Zaouatene then departure to join the bivouac in Injaran

Day 06 Tuesday: Direction towards Tin-Akaham, bivouac in Tiska, (the plain of Tenere?)

Day 07 Wednesday: Departure to Djanet, visit the engravings of the crying cow, lunch in Taghene, bivouac at Aitelouatan

Day 08 Thursday: Visit the varied landscapes, lunch next to the arches of Tikoubaoune, bivouac in the Canyons of Essendilene.

Day 09 Friday: Lunch next to the engravings of Didier, Bivouac a oued Ouagheghan

Day 10 Saturday: Lunch at Tiouaitaterene, bivouc in the dunes of erg Admer

Day 11 Sunday: Arrival in Djanet at noon, lunch at the agency guest house, afternoon visit the city of Djanet, Handicrafts, palm grove, dinner at the agency guest house, then transfer at the airport for departure to Algiers and return flight.
