Got a good holiday time with VM Travel, They organised our trip through all of Viet Nam. The people here is so nice and helpful, good food, a relaxing atmosphere. We booked a private car from Hue to Da Nang With VM Travel. The agents were friendly, the car was in good condition and the driver was kind. They recommended it over the bus. It was a good recommendation as we had more freedom to stop at beautiful places along the way. We visited at "Elephant Springs" and "Lang Co Beach" which were absolutely beautiful. We agreed to have a day's tour of Hue with transportation from Danang. The main condition was that I needed an English speaking driver. The day started off with the driver provided not speaking or understanding any bit of English at all. I went up to him to ask if he was our driver. He walked away clueless. The company didn't provide him with my local number. I called the company and they kept saying driver is on the way. 1. Non-English speaking driver. 2. Terrible coordination.
The trip to Hue started and the driver was driving at 40km/hr throughout the journey. Cars were honking behind us. The driver's approach seems to be to waste as much time as possible on the journey to Hue. I called the company to tell the driver to speed up but nothing was done. Vinh and the company were terribly unhelpful. They claimed that there were speed limits of 40km/hr. The amazing thing was on our way home, when the driver knows that the earlier he sent us back to the hotel, the earlier he finishes his assignment, out driver transformed into a formula one driver and there seems not to be any speed limits anymore. The journey back is more than an hour shorter.
When we reached Hue, the driver brought us to the company office so that they can "hear my complaints". Instead of doing anything about it, the man just said that I was difficult to satisfy and he had already given me a discount for not providing an English speaking driver.
