12 DAYS TO MARA /NAKURU /SAMBURU /ABERDARES /AMBOSELI / TSAVO WEST / TSAVO EAST PARKS
Day 1: Nairobi/Mara -After breakfast picked up from your city hotel, and departs for Masai Mara game reserve, which is commonly known for the ‘big five’. It takes about five hours to get there via Narok town. Arrive in time for lunch, then afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp. Day 2: Mara -Pre-breakfast morning game drive which gives you the chance to see animals hunting, thereafter back to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon you can choose to go for game drive or relax by the pool or visit the Maasai villages. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp. Day 3: Mara/Nakuru -After breakfast checks out and have an en-route game drive as you drive into the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an evening game drive in the park, which has some rare animals like white rhinos and Rothschild giraffes. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp. Day 4: Nakuru/Samburu - Pre- breakfast morning game drive, then proceed to the lake where you have the chance to see the thousands of flamingoes and many more species of birds. Noon check out for Northern Kenya past the Aberdare ranges. Arrive at Samburu National Park early in the evening as you have an en-route game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp. Day 5: Samburu -Spend the whole day in Samburu slopes which has rare reticulated giraffes and plenty of the cat family. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp Day 6: Samburu/Aberdares -After breakfast check out and drive towards central Kenya where you enjoy fascinating sights of Mt. Kenya, Arrive in time for lunch, then later a special transfer is done to the Tree Hotel where you will spend your overnight and dinner. Day 7: Aberdares/Amboseli - In the morning after breakfast, proceed to Nairobi as you enjoy sights of coffee, tea, pineapple plantations. Arrive in Nairobi early in the afternoon for your lunch, and then proceed to Amboseli National Park arriving late in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp. Day 8: Amboseli - Spend the whole day in Amboseli where you can have a chance to a clear view of the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro. The park is famous for the biggest elephants. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp. Day 9: Amboseli/Tsavo - After breakfasts continue with the game drive down to the Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for lunch, then afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp. Day 10: Tsavo West -Spend the whole day in Tsavo where you have the chance to visit the Mzima Springs where buffalos are in plenty, Man eaters of Tsavo caves, World War 1 sites, Rhodesia Bridge and Lake Jipe. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp. Day 11: Tsavo West/Tsavo East -After breakfast drive down to the Tsavo East Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive where you can visit the Mudanda rocks and Yatta lava plateau near Galana River falls. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ camp. Day 12: Tsavo East/Nairobi - Pre-breakfast game drive then later check out for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon, drop off at your city hotel.
Total cost of 12 days of 6 pax in tour van @ Usd 210 x 12 = 2520. Total cost of 5 pax with a jeep 4x4 @ Usd 310 x 12 = 3720. Cost of budget hotel/lodge per pax per night @ Usd 185. Cost of high end hotel /lodge @ Usd 285 per pax per night.
