Details Itinerary

Day 1: Siem Reap - Arrival: *D:

Arrive Siem Reap Airport meet and transfer to hotel. Late afternoon visit at floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Visit the village and take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the great Lake of Cambodia, is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world, cyclically swelling from 2500km2 to more than 12,00km2 in the wet season. Lastly visit Artisans d`Angkor (handicraft center).

Dinner: Buffet dinner with cultural performance show. Spend Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Motor Trailer & Trekking: B/L/D:

Morning: After breakfast take a motor trailer and drive through downtown along Siem Reap river to Angkor complex. After purchasing Angkor pass drive a little and walk through jungle to Angkor Wat. Later drive to visit Baksei Chamkrong, South Gate causeway entrance to Angkor Thom with its huge statues depicting from the churning of the ocean of milk. After that walking along the wall of Angkor Thom to the Chrung temple, Death Gate. Then ride motor trailer to visit Bayon temple unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, Ba Phoun, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Spend Overnight at home stays (Srah Srang).

Day 3: Trekking & Cycling: B/L/D:

Morning: After breakfast walking through the village to explore the daily life of people and go to visit Ta Prohm which is still covered by jungles and the place where they filmed the movie Tom Raider; then take bicycle to see Takeo, trekking in the jungle to Ta Nei and continue the journey to Preah Khan, built by the King Jayavarman VII and similar Ta Prohm. Next ride bicycle to the Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool and representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake, Ta Som, East Mebon. Spend overnight at Preah Dak village (old village of Angkor city).

Day 4: Cycling: B/L:

Morning: After breakfast take a bicycle ride to visit Banteay Samre, built in the third quarter of the 12th century, and then continue toward Rolous Group by passing the rice field and the villages. Rolous Group was the first capital of Angkor Empire during 800 A.D. Visit the Pre-Angkorian temples including Preak Ko, Bakong and Lo Lei. Next you cycle back to hotel along a small road through villages, pagodas and schools. This road is good for cycling as to avoid the busy traffic. Spend overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Siem Reap - Departure: B:

Morning: After breakfast spend leisure until your transfer to the Airport for departure.
