Sandbank Picnic
Duration: Full Day (09:30 – 15:30)
Languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish
We board the dhow at the Serena Inn in Zanzibar and set sail towards Prison Island to see the remains of the prison and watch the giant tortoises shuffle through the trees. Discover amazing underwater life with snorkeling before heading off to the sand bank, a seemingly uninhabited and quiet bank in the ocean which suddenly comes to life with ghost crabs scurrying across the sands. After lunch, relax on the sandbank listening to the waves lapping against the shore before slowly sailing back to Stone Town.
