This is Uganda’s oldest national park and is located at the end of the Albertine Rift Valley, bisected by the Victoria Nile, which plunges 44m over the remnant rift valley wall,creating the dramatic Murchison Falls. The falls is magnificent to marvel at and definitely the center piece of this park. A wide range of wildlife species are hosted here and they comprise:elephants, giraffe, warthogs, buffalo,lions,the elusive leopard, the big Nile crocodiles,and big schools of hippopotamus,among others besides several bird species.

DAY 1: A Company representative will pick you up from an overnight accommodation in Kampala to head northwards via Luwero, Nakasongola and Masindi with lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at selected accommodation in the park

DAY 2: Early breakfast and head out for a morning game drive in search of wildlife. The highlights of this game drive are: Giraffes, Elephants, Buffalo, Bushbucks, Reedbucks, Kobs, Oribi and Jackson’s Hartebeest among others. After lunch go for a relaxed boat launch upstream on the River Nile starting at Paraa and ending at the bottom of the falls lasting about 3hours. The highlights of this boat launch include: the humongous Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, buffalo and lots of bird life along the river banks. Dinner and overnight at Budongo Eco Lodge to conveniently start off the chimpanzee morning trek the next day.

DAY 3: Wake up to a relaxed breakfast before going for chimpanzee tracking in Budongo Forest a walk that takes about 3-hours and on return embark on the journey to Kampala with photograph stopovers along the way and lunch en route. You will be dropped off at a place of your choice in Kampala.

Prices will include ground transport, an English speaking driver/guide, park entry fees, one litre of bottled water while traveling, one game drive, an afternoon boat cruise on the river Nile, chimpanzee tracking in Budongo Forest and accommodation for two nights.

Prices will exclude, flights, visas, alcohol/sodas, extra meals, personal insurance, tips and items of personal nature.
