The Seychelles Islands are considered to be a 'paradise' on Earth, where the flora and fauna of the archipelago are preserved in their original form. In the islands, one will find endless sandy beaches, which are considered among the best in the world. The islands are home to many endemic plants and animals that can not be seen anywhere else. The beauty of these small islands is extraordinary, and even the most vivid imagination is easily surpassed by the charm of this exotic place. The transparent waters of the ocean and the pure sand with a pinkish tinge, the unique living world and the islands themselves together with the surrounding waters, the climate and the beauty of the underwater world attract thousands of tourists to the Seychelles. Almost every island of the Seychelles is unique both in terms of its nature and recreational opportunities.

Victoria is one of the smallest capitals in the world, the only major port of the Seychelles and the only real city in the country. Any other town of the archipelago, no matter how large it is said to be, is essentially a village in comparison to Victoria. The capital of the entire archipelago attracts the tourists with its many Creole restaurants, souvenir shops and boutiques, traditional houses with balconies, art galleries, colorful fruit and vegetable markets. The city is surrounded by the greenery of coconut palms, plantations of cinnamon, and from the tops of the nearby hills there is a fantastic view of the other islands of the archipelago.
Victoria's main street is called Marquette Street. In addition to numerous shops, souvenir shops and markets, here one can see the famous Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the Clock Tower, the Museum of Natural History, and the Seychelles largest supermarket, which is no larger than the average store somewhere in Europe. Other attractions include a tiny historical museum, rich botanical gardens of Mont-Fleury and an orchid garden. Tourists can also admire the glass building of the Bank of Seychelles, 'a grand structure' of the National Library and Parliament, the Statue of the Free Man, a small Anglican church and a Hindu temple. All the major hotels have wonderful restaurants and casinos. Contact a professional tour operator on Seychelles to request an excursion or tour around the city.
Silhouette Island, which lies directly opposite the beach of Beau Vallon, is considered the most picturesque one due to the beautiful forests. The island is sparsely populated, but all the necessary conditions have been created for the tourists.
Praslin is the second largest island of the archipelago, often called the 'Garden of Eden'. Its landscapes and the unique national park of Vale de Mer are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
