Day 01

AIRPORT/ SIGRIYA Boulder Range or Pelwehera Resort

POLONNARUWA / MEDIRIGIRIYA Boulder Range or Pelwehera Resort

After breakfast excursion to Polonnaruwa, the second ancient capital city for three centuries,is one of the most interesting places in Sri Lanka with many well preserved ruins of palace and monasteries which easily can make every tourist to impress. Then visit Medirigiriya in the early evening.Optional Elephant back jungle Safari for 01h30 minutes (Payment direct) Return back to the hotel for dinner & overnight.

DAMBULLA / WASGAMUWA Safari Village

After bfast leave to Wasgamuwa. En route visit the temple in rock at Dambulla continuation to Wasgamuwa.The journey passes through beautiful forested foothills where one can really appreciate the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Upon arrival in Wasgamuwa you will check in at the lodge. Then PM leaves for the Safari of Wasgamuwa. Park consists of riverine forest, dry mixed evergreen forest, grasslands and wetlands. As park is almost surrounded by Mahaweli & Amban Rivers, riverine forest area is fairly large.Wasgamuwa is famous as an elephant habitat. These elephants are known to be less habituated to people and are more wildish. Other than elephant, leopard, sloth bear, sambhur, spotted and barking deer, wild boar and wild buffalo are also found here. Torque Macaque, Purple face leaf monkey and nocturnal slender Loris is also found in the park. Lesser Adjutant, Wooly necked stork, open bill, painted stork, Racket tailed Drongo, Yellow fronted barbet, Sri Lanka Jungle fowl & Spur fowl are among the over 100 species of birds found within the park. WASGAMUWA / KNUKLES RANGE MOUNTAINS / MATALE KANDY Suisse Hotel

After breakfast you will depart for Kandy via the knuckles range. The importance of the Knuckles Mountain Range is obtained from several factors. It has a parasitical quality to it because of the mountain peaks, the crystal clear and perennial waterways, cloud forests and exquisite fauna and flora. Pregnant with history running into several millennium and a veritable treasure house of cultural heritage, the Knuckles Mountain Range can be considered a as a mirror to the past. Arrive at hotel in Kandy, the center of the traditional arts in Sri Lanka Visit the city of Kandy. Day 05

KANDY / PERADENIYA / PINNAWELA / NUWARAELIYA The Leisure Village

After breakfast visit the royal botanical gardens of Peradeniya which is well known for its large number and variety of plants, ornamental, Decorative, Useful & medicinal More than 4000 Then visit the elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. This orphanage was established to feed nurse & house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Often the young ones fall into pits and ravines in their request for water during drought period. P.M. leave for Nuwaraeliya the center of hill country, En-route visit a tea plantation and witness the manufacture of the world famous ‘’ Ceylon tea ‘’. Spend the evening walking in the cool climate. Arrive at hotel for overnight.

Day 06

NUWARAELIYA / HORTON PLAINS / KITULGALA Rafters Retreat

With early bfast on the way to Kitulgala you will stop at the Horton Plains Nature Reserve and have a guided tour with a resident naturalist guide. Horton Plains is another wildlife hot spot, the vegetation cover here is open, grassy woodland, home to species such as the sambar, leopard and endemic purple-faced langur. From here you will continue to Kitulgala. You have the option of rafting in the river which is very famous in Sri Lanka for Rafting. (Minimum 2 persons are required & payment direct) Overnight in Kitulgala

Day 07

KITULGALA / SINGHARAJA The Blue Magpie

After bfast today you will drive out to Singharaja National Park which is of international, ecological significance and has recently become a world heritage site. The area has some of the best preserved virgin rain forest on earth, saved from commercial logging due to its inaccessibility.Dinner & Overnight in Singharaja

Day 08

SINGHARAJA / BANDARAWELA Orient Hotel

After bfast the morning will be spent exploring the Singharaja rain forest. Due to the dense vegetation cover wildlife viewing is difficult and the elusive mammals such as the leopard are rarely seen. You may see some of the brightly coloured birds of the region which tend to move through the jungle in mixed feeding flocks. In the afternoon leave to Bandarawela Overnight in (Hotel)

BANDARAWELA / UDAWALAWE Centuria Hotel Standard Room

After bfast early in the morning trekking in this small town area in Bandarawela then you will travel south to Udawalawe. This large national park was designed to protect the diverse catchments area of the Udawalawe Reservoir. The vegetation here is different again; mainly compose of open parkland with some mature teak trees. The park is home to around 400 wild elephants which are easy to spot and there are also good numbers of golden jackal, crocodile and buffalo. UDAWALAWE / YALA Chandrika Hotel

After bfast this morning you will head to the south-east corner of the island. Yala National park is the most famous of all Sri Lanka's parks. It contains an amazing variety of habitats from Open Park to dense jungle, and also contains fresh water rivers and lakes as well as beaches. Yala's greatest claim to fame is that it has the world’s highest concentration of leopard (though this still does not guarantee seeing any!) After bfast today you will travel to your beach hotel in south of Sri Lanka. BEACH / GALLE / NEGOMBO Camelot Hotel

After bfast leave for Negombo En-route visit Galle. Visit the Old Portuguese fort, later rebuilt and extended by the Dutch is still fine preservation. Most of the administration of Galle still takes place from the fort. The view from the ramparts is superb. Visit a village in an island by boat in Madhu River and visit one of the sea turtle Hatcheries Overnight at hotel in Negombo

Sri Lanka Visa charges USD 20 per person for NON SAARC countries & USD 10 for SAARC countries, can be obtained directly via the internet please visit this site. http://www.eta.gov.lk/ The process is not complicated if you have any difficulty we could make arrangements for same too in 48hrs to obtain same if details are provided to us by mail. The process is very simple payments can be paid online & with the confirmation document print out & code you have to submit passport on arrival only. The passport has to be valid for six months from the day of arrival return air tickets & sufficient funds or reservations for the holiday should be with you. All have to obtain a visit visa except for Singapore & Maldivian passport holders.

TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY:

You may cancel your booking at any time prior to commencement of the tour by notifying us in writing, which must be acknowledged by our company.If you cancel on or before 30 days before the first day of the tour, we will retain your small deposit to cover our costs. In addition, if the cancellation notification is received less than 30 days prior to the first day of the tour, additional cancellation charges shall be as follows:

*Jeep charges to visit all reserves included Entrance fees to be paid directly to reserves too.

*English speaking chauffeur in air-conditioned private Vehicles will be provided.

*Fuel and Local assurance for the vehicle included (No vehicle on free days unless specifically mentioned in the programme). Working hours of chauffeur will be between 08h00 to 19h00 on any given day but this can be modified by discussing with the chauffeur. Sufficient resting time has to be provided for the next day’s trip. (Arrival & departure transfers can be at any time).
