Dhaulagiri Trek & Dhampus peak (6012m) climb

Dhampus Peak is situated North-East of the big Dhaulagiri massif. It is an easy mountain to ascent although a good physical condition is requires adopting the high altitude trekking. The overwhelming altitude differences between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges makeha Dhampus Peak a very exposed spot to observe the scenery from. Being a top of Dhampus Peak( 6012m) one can enjoy the biggest mountain range in the world with uninterrupted heights between seven and eight thousand meters, containing Annapurna -1, 2, 3 & 4, Annapurna-South, The Nilgiris and Tilicho Peak.

We offer an wilderness itineraries to attempt this peak via around Dhaulagiri commencing at Beni some about 285 km west of Kathmandu , then the trek follow the unexploited route via Bibiyachore to the Dhaulagiri base camp, beyond Dhaulagiri base camp we ascend the French pass 5445m to reach hidden valley from where we gear up to reach the top of Dhampus peak, after successful attempt of the peak we trek down to the Kaligandaki valley to reach Jomsom in 3 days , at Jomsom we take flight back to Kathmandu vai Pokhara .
