1. Who is eligible
Any travel website with an
approved and rated profile on Tripcook. If your profile is already rated, you will be entered automatically. If you have a profile without a rating, be sure to get one as soon as possible. See

2. What's the prize?
Each monthly contest winner gets an opportunity to advertise on Tripcook, an induction in our Monthly Hall of Fame, and an automatic entry in our Website of the Year nomination. In January 2013 Tripcook will crown the Website of the Year and the winner will get $US500. Winners will be entitled to display the Tripcook's Website of the Month and Tripcook's Website of the Year awards on their websites.
3. What's the process?
Once a month, each member of the Tripcook's community (travel organizations with listed profiles) can vote for ONE travel website from a selection of qualified entries. Qualified entries/websites can only participate and win one monthly nomination during a calendar year. To pick a winner for websites with equal votes, the Tripcook's editors will use 1)

4. When is the winner announced?
Monthly winners will be announced during the first week of each subsequent month. Website of the Year winner will be announced on January 7, 2013.

Casting a vote in the Tripcook's Best Travel Website Contest is another good way to earn
Activity Points on Tripcook. When your Activity points reach 100, your profile becomes entitled to receiving free
Travel Rating and inclusion in the list of contenders.
6. What else is there in addition to the 500 USD Grand Prize?
The winner of the Year is promoted in the Tripcook's Newsletter circulated throughout the Web using well-established Press Release distribution systems, such as, for example, PRWEB.COM.
