Kyrgyzstan is loved for many reasons, and not least for its diverse mountain scenery. Visit the Pamirs or the famous 'Asian Patagonia' or be one of the fortunate few to witness Kyrgyzstan's lesser known, but equally worthy, natural areas. Experience Central Asia's famous hospitality and culture first hand, with a Kyrgyz or Uzbek homestay

Experience another world, where strangers are welcomed, and the simplicity of old ways lives on in the smiles of young and old alike. Why not leave busy life behind for a while, come to Kyrgyzstan, and stretch your soul by experiencing a different way of living.

Patagonia of Central Asia 6. - 22. August 2010

These mountains are called The Patagonia of Central Asia for good reason.“These mountains are more impressive than the real Patagonia !” said a good friend of NTE travel who had been to both regions. It is very difficult to describe or replicate scenery like this with pictures. Words just don't do it justice.

Further details

Our experience has taught us that 9-11 days is the ideal amount of time to fully connect with all Kyrgyzstan has to offer. As we cross multiple passes the trek will continually inspire. Rugged valleys, lovely green pastures, the Kyrgyz Jailoo, colorful stones and imposing glaciers appear along the trail.

The tour is ideal for small groups between 2 and 8 people. We also recommend a cultural experience in a village near the City of Osh. The NTE travel staff has trained locals who speak English to provide home stay where you will have a first hand encounter with the local culture and village life. We have other options available. Please contact us via e-mail with any questions you may have.

Requirements

We take great care to tailor our trips to match your physical abilities but you should be prepared for long steep climbs up the various passes and exposed trails. You should be in good physical condition before you arrive.
