Nepal Langtang trek valley is has touched to Tibet but the trek area is still far away from Tibetan Plateau. Trekking in the spectacular Langtang Valley is the closest you could get to the snow capped mountains from Kathmandu valley.This is located only 19 miles north of Kathmandu, close to the Tibetan border. The highest peak in the area called Langtang Lirung [7246m]. There is two gateway to enter the Langtang trekking region one entrance point is Syabrubesi another is Sundarijal.
