This February 2020., we visited Egypt as a tourist group from Croatia in organization of Croatian tourist operator Atlas. It was an amazing tour including Cairo, sleeping train to Aswan, Nile cruising to Luxor and over Hurghada back home. No need to mention exciting Egyptian history, temples, pyramids.... For all this it is essential to have a reliable and knowledgeable guide. Local support and guide was organized by Egyptian company Chrismar travel. Our local guide - Egyptologyst - Medhat was wonderful. He fully meets our expectations and even exceeds it. Beside knowledge, we loved his way of telling facts and stories. He did it in interesting way giving us (his family) roles from ancient Egypt. So we were by magic transferred trough time thousands years back in past. But not only this, Medhat really take care of each of us individually. Acomodation was great, from hotels in Cairo and Hurghada to ship on Nile. Sleeping train was inetersting, not all in our group were satisfied, but this is just a minor and not important complaint. For me and my wife, even this part was great experience. In general our tour was perfectly safe, we didn't feel any threats. As conclusion this is one of must - visit location and thanks to profesional tourist operators and guides Croatian and Egiptian it is one of our best trip experience.
