2-days-1-night in Ba Be Lake

Explore this beautiful natural lake located in Ba Be National Park, where a dramatic landscape and authentic culture, it is only 250 km from Hanoi. After careful review, we would like to offer a 2 days trip to Ba Be Lake from Hanoi for those who love exploring nature combined with local culture with a schedule that does not rush you. Within 2 days you will be able to enjoy sightseeing to beautiful ethnic villages in the region around the national park. This will be via an easy ride trek from the local village where you are having your home stay. There will also be a tranquil boat trip on Ba Be Lake and the River Nang to view romantic and imposing landscape.

Day 1 : Ha Noi - Ba Be Lake

Day 2: Ba Be lake - Hua Ma cave - Ha Noi

Day 1 Ha Noi - Ba Be Lake (L, D)

Departure for Ba Be around 7:30 Am, passing through the mountainous province - Thai Nguyen. There are superb landscapes with the rice fields in terrace, the paddle wheels in bamboo on the two sides of the river. Have lunch on road. Upon arrival at Cho Ra about 1h30 PM, take a boat on Nang river that slips in a cultivated country before penetrating in a landscape of chalky cliffs whose flank are characterized by small wild gardens, where hang the lianas and its long roots in quest of earth. Then enter into the Puong Cave in Ba Be National Park.

The river flows, making up a wonderful site where you can enjoy the stalactites on foot of this pothole. Continue going by boat to Bo Lu - a village of Tay ethnic. The Tay lives on fishing, rice and corn cultivation. Their stilt houses with the thatched roofs disperse in the austere surrounding landscapes. Have dinner and overnight at the Coc Toc village on Ba Be lake-shore.

Day 2 Ba Be lake - Hua Ma cave - Ha Noi (B, L)

After breakfast we go past Ba Be forest, you can discover spectacular rivers, deep valleys, natural caves and undulating mountains. On the way, we pay a visit Pac Ngoi village where the local people still keeps the traditional stilt house then enter Hua Ma cave famous with thousand of stalactites and columns. Then drive back to Ha Noi. Have lunch in a local restaurant on the way. We arrive in Ha Noi at about 5:30 P.M and the car will you off at your hotel.
