Day 1 Hanoi - Mai Chau - Son La (L, D)

In the morning, Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Son La town (320km) with stop for taking photos, experiencing hill tribes lifestyle. On the way, we stop in Mai Chau, the Lac and Pom Coong villages are famous with Thai people for visiting couple of hours, and have lunch with local food of them. And then, keep traveling to Son La, take photos with local people. Arrival in Son La, check in hotel and have free time. Overnight at hotel in Son La.

Day 2 Son La - Lai Chau (Muong Lay) (B, L, D)

In the morning, visit French Prison, Son La Ethnology Museum. Then transfer to Muong Lay. On the way, stop for taking photos, visit some villages of Black Thai, and find out about some customary practices people here. Visit Tuan Chau Market, Pha Din Pass (1300m). Lunch in Tuan Giao and continue to Muong Lay. Check in hotel upon arrival. Overnight at hotel.



Day 3 Muong Lay - Sapa (B, L, D)

Take bus to Tam Duong, enjoy Tinh Waterfall, have lunch in Tam Duong. In the afternoon, transfer to Sapa. Stop to visit Heaven Gate, the highest stretch of road in Vietnam as well as the provincial border of Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces. Enjoy fantastic view over the valley with barbecue of local people. After that, visit The Silver Waterfall is located about a half hour from Sapa town which offers stunning views over surrounding mountains and lush forests belonging to Hoang Lien National Park. You are advised to stop by a farm for a cup of tea and talk with people to understand their local life. Free time for walking around to discover Sapa town on your own, enjoy night market. Visitors can also join “Sapa Love Market” ( if it is Saturday). Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 4 Sapa Trekking (B, L, D)

The day is devoted to a beautiful hike through the breathtaking scenery of Sa Pa valley. Start by road that descends in the wake of the street Cau May (6 km) En route, admire the rice terraces hidden behind mist of the morning, a truly awe-inspiring sight. Follow a small track and cross MuongHoa River and pass well-tended rice terraces on your way to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai. Continuing through the colorful rice terraces you will reach the village of Ta Van Giay. As you continue your trek along the MuongHoa River you will cross a small suspension bridge, roughly 2km from the settlement. Here you can discover a fascinating collection of rock carvings. These engravings depict some beautiful images of man, stilt houses and some beautiful decorative patterns. After taking a rest, car is ready for your journey back to Sapa town for dinner and accommodation. Afternoon, trekking to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages where experience the daily life of the Black H’Mong people. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.



Day 5 Sapa - Bac Ha - Ha Giang (B, L, D)

Starting from Sapa, you will first visit Bac Ha, enjoy an easy trek to Ban Pho village, visit some houses of Mong Flower and visit the old castle of the former H’mong King. Having Lunch in Bac Ha. In the afternoon, We set off on a haft of day journey through Sin Man and Hoang Su Phi to Ha Giang town. The rough but scenic route traverses a dense jungle before crossing over a pass and ping down to Sin Man. Along the way we may encounter the Nung Ing, Tay, Red Dao, Dao Ao Dai, La Chi and Co Lao, just some of the many hill tribe groups who have settled in the area. Overnight at hotel in Ha Giang.

Day 6 Ha Giang - Dong Van - Meo Vac (B, L, D)

Starting from Ha Giang, you will stop in Quan Ba District to visit the Bo Y minority village, this area is wonderful weather around year, then process passing Sky gate where you can visit sky, Fairy Mountain, hand weaving village. Break in Yen Minh town. Continues to Meo Vac town, visit Dao minority house and we have chance to view Nho Que river with Ma Pileng point, view ancient valley from the top. After that we go to Sa Phin village to visit former Meo King palace. Over night in Meo Vac.

Day 7 Meo Vac - Ba Be Lake (B, L, D)

Today, the journey takes you through the rolling hills and the picturesque scenery to Ba Be National Park. Roads are bumpy and zigzagging through the mountains. But the journey is more than rewarding. Meet the locals and learn more about the life and culture of the Hmong, Dao, Tay and Nung ethnic minorities who make for the main population in this region. Surely, your presence will attract the locals’ attention as this part of the country still receives few visitors. Depending on road and traffic conditions, we arrive in Ba Be lake in late afternoon or early evening. Overnight in Ba Be lake homestay.



Day 8 Boat Trip On Ba Be Lake (B, L, D)

A treat! Breakfast on the terrace, then short drive to the house owner's boat, which will take you through the entire length of the 3 connected lakes (Ba Be - "3 bays") and up the Nang River, to an astonishing site: Dong Phuong, an enormous tunnel (300m long by 30m high) that the river has cut through a lime mountain. We trek through H'mong and Zao village of Cam Ban. We will continue to Cam Ha village where you can observe the peaceful life of the Tay people amongst the green rice fields. The boat then goes up river to the small village of Hua Tang. If you have imagined simple and authentic ethnic minority villages, this is what you have been dreaming of! Lunch is in a local house alongside the river. After lunch, a short walk (20 m) through the jungle takes you to the very scenic Thac Dau Dang Waterfalls, a series of spectacular cascades between sheer rock walls. You may continue the trail to arrive in a large river bend full of colourful local life, with a small "harbour" . Here the locals unload goods to bypass the falls by motorbike and then reload them on boats to go through the lake. Return by boat for another delightful evening at your Tay house.

Day 9 Ba Be Lake - Cao Bang - Ban Gioc Waterfall (B, L, D)

After breakfast, depart for Cao B?ng close to Vietnam’s northern border with China. You will be introduced to the Nung people in the village of Phuoc Sen, a small village famous for the production of farming tools. Like the Tays, the Nungs largely live by farming the terraced rice paddies that you will see all around as you transfer to Ban Gioc Waterfall, the majestic falls that demarcate the border between Vietnam and China. Spend some time at leisure relaxing and taking souvenir photos as you soak up the sublime atmosphere of Vietnam’s most beautiful waterfall. Visit Nguom Ngao “Tiger Cave”. We come back Cao Bang town for overnight in Thanh Loan hotel



Day 10 Cao Bang - Lang Son - Ha Long Bay (B, L, D)

We borrow the famous Route Coloniale No. 4. Ballad in Dong Khe That Khe will happen before. Arrive late afternoon after a Lang Son border town between Vietnam and China. Free time to explore the market of Dong Kinh. Driver will bring you to Halong Bay and watching the busy rice paddies over the road. Arrive in Bai Chay in the late afternoon. Overnight at Crown hotel.

Day 11 Ha Long Bay Cruiser (B, L, D)

Today we have free time in the morning before we get on romantic trip on cruise At 12:00. Lunch will be served on the boat while we cruise around the bay. Now you have time to enjoy the beauty of Halong Bay and take photos. off for a guided visit of Sung Sot cave. Discover Titop area (or Luon cave area). Weather permitting you will be able to hike up Titop mountain as well as kayak and swim in the bay’s emerald waters. A Vietnamese dinner will be served on the boat.

Day 12 Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Island (B, L, D)

Rise early for another chance to swim or rise later and have breakfast at your leisure. The boat will you off at Gia Luan pier on Cat Ba island. From here, a bus will take you to Cat Ba National park for some hiking and cycling. After the excursion, you will head towards Cat Ba town to check – in at the hotel on Cat Ba. Lunch will be served at the hotel. In the afternoon, you can relax at the hotel, shop along the sea-side strip, visit Cat Co beaches or go for a trip to Monkey Island with your tour guide. Free time to explore the town in the evening.Overnight at Hotel.



Day 13 Cat Ba Island - Ha Noi (B, L, D)

Rise early to enjoy the sunrise or sleep a little longer, but check out is at 8:45 AM. You will head back to Gia Luan pier by bus and board the boat to cruise back to Halong harbor. Lunch will be served on the boat. You will have more chances to admire Halong Bay before the boat returns to the habor. Pick up and drive to Hanoi. Have a short break on the way before you arrive in Hanoi city at around 16:00
