Indeed i'm talking about that madagascar of the 3D moovi. Is it actually worthwhile going there? That might be your question! Are all the caracters in that film existing? What can be done in Madagascar? So let me quot some good reasons why Madagascar is actually worthwhile.
Do you love natures? Madagascar owns such a important rates of biodiversity rather impressive and rich. According to scientists, more than 80% of its biodiversity that's to say the flora and fauna are endemic to the island. As a very mere example of this are Lemurs. These little cute beast exist only in Madagascar. The neighboud island like Seychelle owns lemurs too, but only very few species, however in the big island you have plenty of them different to each another according to their habitat. As far as fauna is concerned Madagascar have a lot to provide, such as: chameleons, snikes, the famous fossa, the Europlatus, Frogs... And if we talk about flora, it has a lot that many countries in the world do not have, such as orchids (thousands exist only here), baobabs (there are 8 species on this earth, 6 of them only in madagascar, one in africa and one in Australia) so on and so fa...
Do you like adventures? The big island can satisfy your envy. Go in trek for more than 3, 4 days or even more in a place such as Isalo (know as the malagasy colorado), Ranomafana (UNESCO world heristage), Andrigitra (trek in Peak Boby, the second highest Peak in Madagascar)... You can also go on a canoening along the river of tsiribihina for 4 days under camping. You are a climber, the Cliff of Tsaranoro will provide you a real challenge. Many climber champions from around the globe have been there openin geach their own way, what about creating yours?
Are you just keen on relax holidays? Sea, sun and sand? Be aware that Madagascar own more than 50000 km of beaches that can provide all you need as far as balneaire is concerned.
